The place of birth of our business, founded originally under the name of “Galerie Muralto”, was the venerable patrician’s villa “von Muralt”, located on the corner of Pelikanstrasse and Nüschelerstrasse, where the office building “Zum neuen Froschauer” has been standing since 1940. When we moved from the villa to the newly built office building at Nüschelerstrasse 24 in 1936, we also changed the company’s name to Muralto Wohnungseinrichtungen AG. Ever since, Muralto has been presenting itself there on two floors. The sales rooms stretch out over some 600 m2, the workshops and deposits use up a surface of some 1000 m2.
